Marie Dücker

Marie Dücker is a doctoral student at the Department of American Studies at the University of Graz, where she has been teaching undergraduate courses in literary and cultural studies. She has studied at the University of Cambridge, Rider University, and Williams College, where she also worked as a Teaching Associate in the academic year 2014/15. She received her BA from the University of Graz and graduated with honors with a European Joint Master’s Degree of English and American Studies from the University of Graz and the University of Roehampton. In 2015, she was granted the JungforscherInnenfonds Research Scholarship, awarded by the University of Graz. Her research interests include young adult fiction, intermediality, emotion studies, affect theory, and neoliberal exhaustion.
