Grit Alter

Grit Alter studied at Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University in Greifswald. At the moment, she is completing a teachers’ education program for English and philosophy and teaches at a local high school. As described in the accompanying text, the picture of her contribution was taken in Canada, where Alter spent a few months writing her thesis Beyond Gender and Ethnicity: Issei, Nisei and Sansei Relationships in the Works of Hiromi Goto and Kerri Sakamoto.
