The thing that interested me about American Studies was the fact that it is so interdisciplinary. I'd always had a hard time narrowing down during my bachelor's, so I was glad to see that there was a program that involved many of my interests. Plus, I get to live in Germany, befriend lots of cool new people, pay minimal tuition, and learn the language. Before coming here, I worked as communications and training leader at the biggest genealogical library in the world. I love to read, paint, poke around on the internet, play sports, and listen to and play music (on the piano and organ).
