Alina Theune completed her Bachelor’s degree in American Studies at the University of Leipzig. Before beginning her studies, she completed several internships to decide what she did or did not want to do in the future. During that time, she was an intern at a pharmacy, experienced every facet of working in a hotel, spent her summer break interning at a newspaper and worked in the standardization department of a machine building company. Nearly all of these experiences helped to strengthen her love for writing and the English language. Apart from that, she is interested in politics and economics, which led to her decision to study American Studies and pursuing an MA after completing her undergraduate studies.
