Anne Vogelsberg

Graduating from the University of Leipzig with an BA in American Studies and German Studies as her minor in 2018, Anne decided to follow up with an MA in American Studies to deepen her knowledge on American literature and culture. Being interested in literature—in the broadest of senses—as well as the representation of masculinity and race, she wrote her BA Thesis on African American Masculinity in Disney's The Princess and the Frog. For her MA she intends to pursue her interest in gender studies—especially masculinity studies—but also include other fields, such as food culture, hair culture, and disability studies, into her research.
